How does it work?

When you subscribe to The Moonlit Letters, you will receive 24 envelopes over the course of one year (two envelopes per month). This unique story experience unfolds through letters, diary entries, and other forms of correspondence between characters.

When will I receive my first letter?

Your first letter ships within 3 business days of your order (prepaid orders include tracking within the US). Most US prepaid orders arrive within 5-8 business days. All other orders are sent by regular mail and may take up to 2 weeks. The remaining letters are sent via regular mail every other Friday of each month.

What if I subscribe after the story has started?

Don’t worry, everyone starts with Letter #1. So, no matter when you subscribe, you’ll be able to follow the story from the very beginning.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. International mail may take up to 6 weeks, depending on your country’s postal system. All letters are sent via standard mail.

Can I give this service as a gift?

Absolutely! Be sure to follow these steps when checking out:

  1. Select the story you’d like to send (available as a prepaid or monthly subscription), and add it to your shopping cart.
  2. Put the word "gift" in the "Order special instructions" box in your cart.
  3. Enter your recipient’s mailing address at checkout. If you are sending to more than one person, simply complete your first order. Then, place a new order for each additional recipient.
  4. Enter your own billing details at checkout. All payment confirmations and receipts will be sent to the email you provide. After you have completed your purchase, we will send you a confirmation email.

What’s inside each letter?

Each envelope holds pieces of the story. You’ll read personal letters between characters and diary entries. There are also vintage-style maps, postcards, newspaper clippings, recipes, puzzles, and much more.

Are the stories appropriate for all ages?

We write the stories with adult readers in mind. However, there is no cursing or sexual content. Readers who enjoy cozy murder mysteries (with a little suspense mixed in) will feel right at home.

What happens when the story ends?

Once you receive all 24 envelopes, your experience is complete. If you’re craving more immersive mystery stories, you may sign up for another one of our collections (a new one is always in the works). As a current subscriber, you’ll get early access to future stories.
