How does it work?
When you subscribe to The Moonlit Letters, you will receive 24 envelopes over the course of one year (two envelopes per month). This unique story experience unfolds through letters, diary entries, and other forms of correspondence between characters.
When will I receive my first letter?
Your first letter mails within 3 business days of your order via USPS regular mail. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery in the US (International may take up to 6 weeks). The remaining letters are sent via regular mail every other Friday of each month.
What if I subscribe after the story has started?
Don’t worry, everyone starts with Letter #1. So, no matter when you subscribe, you’ll be able to follow the story from the very beginning.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International mail may take up to 6 weeks, depending on your country’s postal system. All letters are sent via standard mail.
Can I give this service as a gift?
Absolutely! Be sure to follow these steps when checking out:
- Select the story you’d like to send (available as a prepaid or monthly subscription), and add it to your shopping cart.
- Put the word "gift" in the "Order special instructions" box in your cart.
- Enter your recipient’s mailing address at checkout. If you are sending to more than one person, simply complete your first order. Then, place a new order for each additional recipient.
- Enter your own billing details at checkout. All payment confirmations and receipts will be sent to the email you provide. After you have completed your purchase, we will send you a confirmation email.

What’s inside each letter?
Each envelope holds pieces of the story. You’ll read personal letters between characters and diary entries. There are also vintage-style maps, postcards, newspaper clippings, recipes, puzzles, and much more.
Are the stories appropriate for all ages?
We write the stories with adult readers in mind. However, there is no cursing or sexual content. Readers who enjoy cozy murder mysteries (with a little suspense mixed in) will feel right at home.
What happens when the story ends?
Once you receive all 24 envelopes, your experience is complete. If you’re craving more immersive mystery stories and other mailbox experiences, you may sign up for another one of our collections (something new is always in the works). As a current subscriber, you’ll get early access to future offerings.

Mysterious Travels Mail Club
Which issue will I begin with when signing up?
Every issue of the Mysterious Travels Mail Club that we publish is only available for that particular month.
If you sign up on or before the 20th of the month (the cut-off date), you will receive the current issue.
If you sign up AFTER the 20th, you will be sent the next issue when it’s released (during the first full week of the following month).
After that, you will receive all future issues as long as you are subscribed.
Back issues may be available in the future, if we have any leftover copies, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
When will I receive my first issue?
Subscribe today and we’ll mail your first issue as soon as possible.
If you sign up on or before the 20th of the month (the cut-off date), you will receive the current issue.
If you sign up AFTER the 20th, you will be sent the next issue when it’s released (during the first full week of the following month).
You can expect your first issue to be delivered about two weeks after it’s mailed in the US (international orders may take up to six weeks). After that, future issues are mailed during the first full week of every month, as long as your subscription is active.
How does billing work?
Your chosen payment method will be immediately charged for your first issue on the date you subscribe. After that, you’ll be billed on the 1st of each month, and your next issue is mailed shortly after each charge (during the first full week of the month, with short delays for weekends or holidays).
If you sign up on or before the 15th, your next charge is on the 1st of the following month. Example: Sign up on January 14th. Payment is made that day, and your first issue is mailed out ASAP. Your next payment is on February 1st, when your second issue is being prepared for mailing.
If you sign up after the 15th (the cut-off date), your next charge is on the 1st of the month after that. Example: Sign up on January 16th. Payment is made that day, and your first issue is mailed out during the first full week of February. Your next payment is on March 1st, when your second issue is being prepped for mailing.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International orders will incur a shipping fee to cover extra postage. Please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery, depending on your country’s postal system. All mail-club issues are sent via standard mail.
Are the letters appropriate for all ages?
These letters are based on true events and are recommended for adult readers. However, we strive to keep our content as family-friendly as possible. We do NOT cover anything focused on murders or gruesome crimes, paranormal activity, UFOs, monster sightings, etc.
Are these letters real?
Though the letters are detailing true events, the letters, their writers, and the magazine they were written to are entirely fictitious.
